Daryl Roth is a theater producer and the President of Daryl Roth Productions. She began her career in 1988, producing Off-Broadway. Her producing credits include:  CLOSER THAN EVER (1989), THE BABY DANCE (1991), Edward Albee’s THREE TALL WOMEN (1994), CAMPING WITH HENRY AND TOM (1995), HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (1997), DE LA GUARDA (1998), WIT (1998), THE BOMB-ITTY OF ERRORS (1999), THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY (2001), OUR LADY OF 121ST STREET (2003), BECKETT/ALBEE (2003), THOM PAIN (BASED ON NOTHING) (2005), DIE, MOMMIE, DIE! (2007), LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE (2009), THE TEMPERAMENTALS (2009), THE DIVINE SISTER (2010),THROUGH THE NIGHT (2010), MY NAME IS ASHER LEV (2012), BUYER & CELLAR (2013), WIESENTHAL (2014), and THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY (2015). In 1996, she acquired the former Union Square Savings Bank on Union Square and 15th Street, where she created The Daryl Roth Theatre, a multi-purpose space with both a 299-seat main stage and an intimate 99-seat theater the DR2, and the D-Lounge, a versatile cabaret space.  She received the Lucille Lortel Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to Off-Broadway theater in 2010.

Daryl Roth was born in Wayne, New Jersey. She attended Syracuse University, and graduated from New York University.  She is honored to hold the singular distinction of producing 7 Pulitzer Prize-winning plays: Nilo Cruz’s Anna in the Tropics; Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County (2008 Tony); Bruce Norris’ Clybourne Park (2012 Tony); Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive; David Auburn’s Proof (2001 Tony); Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women; and Margaret Edson’s Wit.
